Currently, Mr. Ostrow serves as national co-lead counsel in a proposed class action lawsuit against Microsoft, in connection with the Xbox 360 game console and its propensity to scratch game discs. He also is co-lead counsel in a proposed Florida state class action against all the major oil companies for their failure to disclose the dangerous propensities of ethanol, a problem which has resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars of losses to those in the marine industry. Mr. Ostrow is an accomplished trial attorney. He recently obtained a recovery of over $7,000,000.00 for a class of individuals who suffered severe eye injuries as a result of using Bausch & Lomb's recalled Renu with Moistureloc lens cleaning solution. In 2008 alone, he was awarded an $8,000,000.00 jury verdict against a national insurance company for the company's failure to procure insurance coverage for a prominent Miami-Dade County attorney who was killed by an uninsured motorist while walking across the street. In the same year, Mr. Ostrow won a $3,620,000.00 jury verdict for a client injured on a construction site in Palm Beach County, Florida. In addition to the foregoing, Mr. Ostrow has extensive experience handling all variations of commercial and real estate litigation and has been involved in most types of business transactions. He has been quoted multiple times on various legal topics in most major newspapers, including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, Miami Herald and Sun-Sentinel. He has also appeared on CNN, FoxNews, ESPN and other major national television networks in connection with the representation of his clients Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Ostrow was in-house counsel for a major national corporation. He received a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida and Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University. Mr. Ostrow is a member of The Florida Bar and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He has also been admitted to practice in several other federal districts around the country. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Broward County Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association and Florida Justice Association. Mr. Ostrow is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. The Million Dollar Advocates Forum is the most prestigious group of trial lawyers in the United States.
